  This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. The room was huge and fantastic with two big bathrooms. Breakfast was great!   Lovely welcoming staff. We had a standard double room with a very comfortable bed. The room was nicely spacious with an apple computer with Internet and ipod speaker doc. The shower was stocked with White Company products and and Asprey soaps. Very nice! They have a great do not disturb policy and let each guest just enjoy their time away. The location is excellent. 1-2 minute walk from Alexanderplatz station where underground, tram and city train can be found. There are many places near by that rent bikes including the hotel itself. Many restaurants are near by. It - Just spent the first two days of our Honeymoon here in Berlin and stayed @ The Holiday Inn Alexanderplatz. After getting off the train and going in to a nearby tall hotel to ask for directions to The Holiday Inn, after the way I was treated by 3 members of staff of that hotel by just asking a simple question, it was pleasure to know that we had not booked to stay and that hotel and instead had opted for The Holiday Inn. I don't like a big breakfast meal, but Hotel I31 has an option for coffee and rolls for Euro 5 which is perfect for my wife and me. Thanks for you hospitality it was very - Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.
