This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

ειναι τα δευτερα Χριστούγεννα που περναμε στο Holiday Inn Munich City Center . Αυτό πιστευω τα λεει όλα . Επιπλέον το προσωπικό είναι πολύ επαγγελματιες , ειδικα στην ρεσεψιον αλλα και στην καθαριοτητα δωματιου , πραγμα που εχει αλλη αξια οταν ταξιδευεις με μικρα παιδια. Staff was exceptionaly helpful and courteous. I would like to commend one yourng gentleman, Routiele, head of staff on the 2nd floor. He was very helpful and went out of his way to be of service. - The central location with the S-Bahn-Trainstation directly under the reception of the hotel. Very nice re-decorated rooms.

loved this hotel! We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Don't be deceived by the surroundings when you walk down the street to the hotel.
The breakfast buffet is excellent with great choice and very fresh.
Location walking distance from Hauptbahnhof and therefore easy to get any where in Munich via the U bahn and S bahn.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. 5mins walk to the main train station to link to any destination in the city. Lots of restaurant and shops in the vicinity.
Get the hotel to book a ticket for a football match through email prior to my arrival and the hotel help me out on this. In the end, the tickets were given free complimentar
