The sauna and jacuzzi were very nice. The free parking was easy and convenient. - The beds are very comfortable. The hotel was not noisey.

It was near to the centre, but away from the hustle bustle. Very friendly reception and cosy bar area, especially as we were 2 ladies travelling on our own - we didn't feel uncomforable - distance to city center, comfort clean rooms, condition in the room, functional shower, tv's sound translation in the shower, friendly perconnel at the receprion,

We were in Europe for 3 weeks, and stayed in 7 different hotels. We decided upon our return that Mercure Hotel wins our award for THE BEST hotel we stayed in, even with all the construction. We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well
worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close,
easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot.
Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet). If

Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

We stayed for 8 nights, during a trade show, with our two small dogs. The room was really good. You have a fridge, and a kettle, and a lot of storage space, and a nice bathroom with proper bath. The staff was very accommodating, giving us a remote room where our dogs did not disturb anyone even by chance. The location is 15 min walk from the main

The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. Great location for exploring the town.

Very nice hotel, recently renovated. We had a big room and enjoyed a lot our staying. The hotel has its own parking facilities (there is also plenty of public parking in the surrounding) and a tram station nearby: perfect combination! The breakfast was very nice. We got a last minute smart deal, it was very good value for money. -

The best location in Cologne! The hotel is nearly brand new and i also love the breakfast! - This is a first class hotel with good facilities. The location is great, we had a view of the cathedral from our room window. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

Small, but lovely room. Staff nice and truly friendly. A really nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Excellent value for money. - I loved the buffet breakfast. The staff were very kind and friendly. They recommended a park to go running and the hotel is a short distance from a great running route.

There are so many excellent things about the Apartments, but it would be difficult not to mention first of all the location. It is 5 minutes from the station and the Cathedral. Normally that would sound warning bells as many hotels close to city centre stations are in seedy areas. This is not the case here; the neighbourhood is a pleasure to walk around and entirely safe. The staff are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The apartments are very spacious with all the facilities one needs

Very nice hotel with good public transportation to city center. Swimming pool, sauna and steam pool were free of charge. - Hotel staff was excellent and very very helpful. All around great staff.
