The sauna and jacuzzi were very nice. The free parking was easy and convenient. - The beds are very comfortable. The hotel was not noisey.

It was near to the centre, but away from the hustle bustle. Very friendly reception and cosy bar area, especially as we were 2 ladies travelling on our own - we didn't feel uncomforable - distance to city center, comfort clean rooms, condition in the room, functional shower, tv's sound translation in the shower, friendly perconnel at the receprion,

We were in Europe for 3 weeks, and stayed in 7 different hotels. We decided upon our return that Mercure Hotel wins our award for THE BEST hotel we stayed in, even with all the construction. Located close enough to old town to walk, clean room and bathroom (loved having a tub), excellent friendly staff, and WONDERFUL breakfast! We loved it! - Ex

We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well
worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close,
easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot.
Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet). If
you need a taxi to the airport, just walk towards the Chocolate Muse

Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

The room, although small, had everything you'd need to make yourself comfortable for a couple of nights. The bed was excellent and the room was clean. The bathroom is really tiny but well kept, it has a hairdryer and a comfortably sized shower cabin. Bathroom heating is also included, so if you plan to visit during the winter, this is a big plus.

I thought the room was clean and a good value for the money. It was also centrally located but a bit hard to find.... google map did not match destination. It was nice to have the bar open and food available late evening if desired.

We stayed for 8 nights, during a trade show, with our two small dogs. The room was really good. You have a fridge, and a kettle, and a lot of storage space, and a nice bathroom with proper bath. The staff was very accommodating, giving us a remote room where our dogs did not disturb anyone even by chance. The location is 15 min walk from the main

The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. Great location for exploring the town.

Location, friendly. - Close to Rhein and close to many tourist attraction and not far from the Lanxess-Arena. We also managed to find a parking place for our car.
