For a 3 star hotel I have to say it is probably the best we have stayed in. The room although a little small, was furnished lovely, bathroom lovely too! Would like to have seen a few more english channels on the tv as there was only ccn news with english speaking, but then again perhaps I should have brushed up on our German lol! Great place, great

The special thanks for the Mr. Ramon who worksin the reception - very competent (you can see that he respects andlikes his work). He makes excellent drinks. Very good breakfasts; thelarge choice.

I liked the location of the hotel- it`s near the Central station, shopping areas and city centre. Beside this, it`s easy to get there from the airport - there`s a direct bus to the Central station and the hotel is very near there. The price is very good. Good staff. Good breakfasts..everything ok for this price...even better :-) - Clean inexpensive

clean, inexpensive room near the central train station. easy to get anywhere. across the street from the museum of arts and crafts which was great. -
great location for leaving early morning from train station or explore the city's neighborhoods. great price for a short stay. good internet

Good customer service, very friendly most of the time. The hotel is located within the city centre where most transport such as bus, taxi and train can be easily accessed. It is also surrounded with a lot of restaurants and pubs. - Very kind and helpful staff; when we had trouble with paying with my VISA they figured out how to do so.

I loved staying at the hostel! It was very modern and very clean. The
staff were so friendly! My room was with 6 other girls and very modern
too. Nice bunk beds and with privacy screens. Chargers for cell phones
and computers. You don't need adapters if you can charge with a
usb cable. Each bed has their own charging station along with light.

Lovely a quiet whilst sleeping - a big surprise considering location - no noise from outside or other people staying in the hostel.
Brilliant location - right next to the Hauptbahnhof, two art galleries/museums, lots of places to eat and easy walking distance to attractions such as Rathaus, Jungfernstieg, Alsterwasser usw.

The staff was very helpful and always nice, the breakfast was so divers and has great food, the location of the hotel was excellent. - Staff of the hotel were very friendly, The location is very close tothe main station and the breakfast is good also I found the bathroomvery clean.

This is an older German gasthäus so it is what it is. However, you would
be hard put to find a modern hotel as clean as this place. It was
spotless. My room, #21, was very quiet and comfortable. I also felt very
safe in the area. There is a smell that is apparent when the room is
shut up for a while, but again, not because of lack of cleanliness.

I've stayed here numerous times, love the central location near the main train station and the happening street nearby with cafes, bars and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Never tried the breakfast as I usually go to one of the nearby cafes or bakeries due to sleeping in. It's always my first choice to stay here. Free wifi. Some rooms have no bathroom, so you need to make sure what you're after...
