The location was terrific. Just a stone's throw from the big cathedral. The lower floor of the hotel is a giant restaurant serving some of the best food in town at rock-bottom prices. I got a room facing the inner courtyard, so although the hotel was in the centre of town, it was extremely quiet. Great for sleeping. The breakfast was also qui

The room was very clean and had a spectacular view of the Dom. The breakfast was tasty, the staff was friendly and in general the room was very comfortable. I would definitely come back to this hotel, and highly recommend it. The location was incredible for the price!

The best location in Cologne! The hotel is nearly brand new and i also love the breakfast! - This is a first class hotel with good facilities. The location is great, we had a view of the cathedral from our room window. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

This was a great little hotel in the centre of the city. 3 mins to the Dom, 5 mins to the main station, 1 min to the shops. Great value for money. Lovely hotel staff. Suprisingly no nose from the streets. - good location,the cathedral,river rhine andmuseums all within walking distance.

We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. Neither the cost of the room nor the meals were expensive particularly compared with London. We had a form of weekend break. I will gladly stay in a Sofitel again - Excellent hotel close to the

price is affordable and the room is so nice - nice staff, very close to the citycenter and to the Dom, museums and so on. You don't need any public transport. Hotel was simple, clean, good price quality and the breakfast was more than standard.

There are so many excellent things about the Apartments, but it would be difficult not to mention first of all the location. It is 5 minutes from the station and the Cathedral. Normally that would sound warning bells as many hotels close to city centre stations are in seedy areas. This is not the case here; the neighbourhood is a pleasure to walk around and entirely safe. The staff are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The apartments are very spacious with all the facilities one needs
