Very helpful, cordial, friendly, and warm.   Nice folks clean room and marble bathroom,good food (but Hackeschermarkt platz a few feet away, full of indoor/sidewalk food places. Short walk to cathedral (Lutheran) with magnificent music for Sunday services and spectacular Vatican like interior. Trains, trolleys, water tour all in five minutes walk. A great find, will return. Oh, the actual fireoplace an - The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay. Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

  We had a studio apartment and it worked out well. We were able to buy a few breakfast items, snacks, and beverages. Small kitchenette did not have a stove, but had a microwave and all the needed dishes and utensils. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless.
