  Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels.   i can not say enough good things about Peter and Ben... so helpful! the place looks amazing and really encapsulates an old brothel feel.. it's kitsch, tacky and has some amazing pictures and features. excellent location. totally worth paying a bit extra to stay there for the real hamburg experience.. and please take Bens advice on where to go.. he... τι λέει ο κόσμος » knows his stuff! - Staff were excellent, gave me and my friend countless bits of invaluable advice. Told us some places to go also and they were great. Allowed me to use they're phone/laptop when I lost my phone also which was priceless at the time.

  I liked that it was easy to get in and out at all hours and that I could leave my bag in the luggage room for a while after checking out. - It was all positive stories staying at A&O. I really got the real value for all money paid. Would surely come again. Thanks

Location is good proximity to the city center (with a car as we had) and many supermarkets etc. Overall it was a great stay with no issues. - Clean,tidy and little noise from others staying.
