  New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. Close location to castles and many good restaurants along Lake Hopfensee where could walk in ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » evening. Could also drive to another Ludwig castle, Linderhof, about an hour away. Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting. Woul - Everything; wonderful accommodation with a terrific view, in a nice little village, just far enough from Fussen to be away from the crowds of tourists.Great restaurant right across the road for dinner, and a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful location at the hotel. Highly recommended.

  If you visit this place once it will stay long not only in your memory but deep in your heart. Fairy tail nature is added by very nice and friendly people who are living and coming there. The atmosphere is very relaxing for really tired people. A lot of sport activities: bikes, Norwegian walking, boating, surfing, swimming. Very nice comforta - Great hotel in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake! The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchenette in the apartment which was a bonus, including dishwasher. You get a "Fussen Card" during your stay, which gives you free public transport and a discount on your castle tickets. The hotel is easy to get to, a 5-10 min drive or 15min bus ride from Fussen. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (Strandbad Hopfensee) where you can get bus 56 which comes eve

We had a very good and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was one of the best that we had during our trip. The chocolate shop at the hotel had a very good selection of beautifully made candies. Onsite parking is in the back of the hotel. Our family room was large, very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town square and the mountains. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.

  this was by far one of the nicest places i ever been ,the staff ,the people,the service,locatios was just great. - The food was wonderful. Large rooms and clean too. Great location for area activities
