The restaurant is to suggest: great food! It is really close to the airport and the train station, but no noise at all.   We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch (muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread). This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...). The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin.

  We loved everything about the Alitania apartments, the apt was just like home, bright, extremely clean beautifully furnished. The location is superb. It was our 3rd time in Berlin in 2 years but our first staying in an apartment. Mela the manager had the apt equipped for us and even had a present for my son, she is a lovely lady. There is a shopping centre 20 meters from the front door that has 2 supermarkets in the basement. There must be at least 30 restuarants witin walking distance as well as the sony centre.
