Manoir Petit Meysset is a bed and breakfast set in a restored 18th-century manor house, surrounded by extensive gardens with BBQ facilities. Guests are invited to relax on one of the terraces or in the lounge area. The Manoir is 1 km from the town centre of Sarlat. The guest rooms and suites are elegantly decorated and include free WiFi internet access throughout the property. Some suites have exposed wooden beams. A French continental breakfast is served every morning for an extra charge. A supermarket and several restaurants are found within 200 metres of the property. Free on-site parking is available and Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station is 3.4 km away.

A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We took our mini wire and he was treated as a part of the family and got on really well with Pluto. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and equipped with Suzettes antiques making the stay feel opulent and tasteful. Breakfast was served in the area outside our room (no problem taking in Bertie who was given a bowl of dog biscuits). The lovely and plentiful breakfast wa.
όλα τα σχόλια » We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November. Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful, big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage. See area highlights below. The local town has a huge Saturday morning market . Although this is a B&B it’s better than many decent hotels. You need to phone to get directions because it isn’t easy to find but the effort is worth it. We had a lovely room, freshly decorated, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. There was a separate and really well equipped bathroom which was light and airy. The lady of the house is an enthusiastic Aussie (but then, aren’t they all?) who speaks good French. She provides a really good, typically French breakfast which isn’t compulsory . Loved our stay at Manoir Petit Meysset! We stayed 5 nights, could easily have stayed (forever). Our hostess Suzette was delightful, wise, helpful, interesting and fun. The accommodation was very comfortable, tastefully renovated and decorated. The gardens beautifully kept and just the right distance for walking into town. Our timing was perfect as we met up with some lovely guests, contact details exchanged. We have every intention of going back there soon! Can highly recommend. Sarlat has beco. We planned to stay for two days, and stayed for six. Relaxed and welcoming. Interesting guests passing through. The innkeeper was warm and friendly, and passed on wonderful recommendations of places to visit and eat. Sarlat is a medieval town, but with modern conveniences. A terrific base for exploring the area. Will definitely stay here again on next visit, and recommend Manoir to our touring friends in need of a break. We have just had an excellent time celebrating my birthday. Suzette is fantastic, so helpful and warm making your stay just that little bit more special. The suite was lovely, with everything you need in beautiful surrondings. Can not fault it - we will return when the weather a bit warmer so we can enjoy breakfast on the terrace and see lovely Sarlat in all its glory. This is a delightful manor house, with sunny terraces overlooking the garden, run by a most helpful and welcoming Australian couple. The Sartre room we booked is more like a spacious studio apartment with kitchenette, which proved to be most convenient. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed with a comfy king size bed and plentiful towels provided. Pleasant arrival greeting and introduction to the facilities. Parking good. Rooms above average and bathroom is more of a three or four hotel type. Outside relaxing areas are very pleasant and if used alovely place to enjoy the more than ample breakfast. Petite Meysset also has a kitchen area for guests, which is convenient to the outdoors relaxing areas. We were given a lovely warm welcome by Sue and the rest of her staff.... Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had... Very comfy bed, wifi, carafe of free wine... Self catering if you want... Just lovely. Sarlat is also a gem of a town and can't wait to return. Highly recommended. Actually I don't think you can beat the warmth and breaky anywhere. where to start? the welcome, the facilities, the wine and bon bons in the room, the view from the room, the owners and staff? every thing was just fabulous. an excellent place for the caves of Font de Gaume and Rouffignac. Sarlat is also a wonderful town with a great vibe and helpful friendly people. all in all a 5 star positive experience :). Suzette, the Lady who owns this wonderful place is one of the most friendly and hospitable person you can meet. My husband and I were in many places throughout France, but this one is very special, this is the place that makes you feel like home, the place you wanna go back to!!!! See you on our next vacations Manoir Petit Meysset.... This is a very classy establishment set in 5 acres of grounds. Our loft room was enormous with kitchen facilities and just beautiful décor. Suzette couldn't have been more helpful and breakfast on the balcony was a delight. You can walk to the old centre in about 25 mins or just drive in. We'd certainly return. This is a great place to stay, the rooms are big with everything you could want. This was the best accommodation we have had on an 8 week holiday in Europe hands down. Great value for money, we stayed on for an extra night however we could have easily stayed for another week. Lovely house, guest rooms and furnishings. Great location close to Sarlat but in a park like setting so really beautiful. A big grocery is close by and the shared refrigerator made it nice for storing wine and cheese. Guest kitchen a bonus, after a week of breakfasts it was good to be able to prepare ourselves something simple. Hospitality and effort of hosts. A beautiful and elegant hotel with large grounds and a friendly, informative and quite lovely hostess. Rooms are large, and are extremely well finished with wonderful and very tasteful furnishings. Beautiful location on edge of Sarlat; large garden for guests to enjoy; very well appointed rooms; comfortable and all you need for a luxury break; hostess very welcoming and friendly - with very good local knowledge. The grounds of the manor were also great. Location, fabulous hosts who know how to treat their guests, getting all of those little things you look for in accommodation but never get them all....here you get them plus more!. Everything was great. Nothing to dislike here. Although, we did not like leaving !!!. Leaving. we didn't stay long enough and the owners would not let us move in permantly :(. Not a thing. No critisisms at all!. We only stayed 2 nights!. We couldn't stay longer.....but we will be back! Apart from that there is nothing not to like. We stayed for two days, and the rooms were not made up or towels changed etc after the first night, which we thought odd.... Can't think of anything we'd have wanted to change. Nothing everything perfect. Nothing. The room was NOT cleaned or "made-up" daily. In other words we were responsible for bed- making, etc. This was not a problem for us, but would prevent us for remcommmending to others. Nothing. nothing. Nothing.
