This 15th-century property is a former priory with a large garden, located in Le Bailleul. It offers independent guest rooms with exposed wooden beams and free internet access. La Flèche is a 10-minute drive away and Sablé-sur-Sarthe is 15 km away. A continental breakfast is included and served every morning in the communal lounge. Homemade dishes are also available at this B&B upon prior reservation. All of the rooms at La Croix Verte have a private entrance and offer garden views. Each room also includes a large, private bathroom. Free private parking is possible at the B&B and the village of Malicorne is 8 km from the B&B. It is 4 km from A11 Motorway.

What a fine! Wonderful warm welcome from the host, super room with all you could need for a peaceful relaxing visit. The evening meal was excellent value and sharing the hors d'oeuvres with the host was most enjoyable. Enjoyed it so much we stayed on our return trip across France! Need we say more?. Wonderful overnight stay with very welcoming hostess. Two very comfortable, large, well furnished rooms. Huge bathroom. We asked for dinner and it was fantastic quality and value, home meade with ingredients from the garden. Locally sourced breakfast. Recommend very highly.

It makes you feel at home much more than in a hotel. The large space of the room, with its independent access from the garden. The friendly welcome, lovely kitchen and table for breakfast. Good recommendation for meals nearby. The quietness. The historic main building. We had an excellent stay with a most welcoming host. The facilities were very good, the location quiet and of historical interest, and there were many interesting things to do in the area. A superb B&B, safe secure. Park outside the front door of the cottage so easy to load and unload into your private room. Superb continental breakfast from a superb host. Beautifully situated for visiting the area. Typically French, good hospitality, lovely gardens, dog friendly, good continental breakfast. Bed was comfortable and clean but a bit small - not unusual for French Hotels and B&B's. - room could have been brighter - no shops or restaurant in the village, which is fine as long as you plan ahead. The room, though large (with a large bathroom), was a little austere. But all was lovely. If I was being picky, it was very hot weather, so a fan in the room would have been welcome, however one may have been supplied if I'd asked. Nothing. Nothing, we would very happily stay again and recommend it to friends. Nothing. Nothing!!. no wii fie in the room. A name board on outside would have been helpful. No door on the loo in the bathroom, no facilities for tea or coffee in room, but this would not stop us from staying again.
