The view of the Castle and old city walls from the terrace alone justify the stay at this apartment. Early morning and night views in particular offer stunning photo opportunities. The apartment is spotless, newly refurbished (June 2012) and it is very well equipped. The owner, Florence, is very welcoming and helpful and the email sent before arrival explained when and where to meet. The town centre, nice shopping street and a "Carrefour City" mini supermarket are just just 10 min walk away. No.

The apartment has been furnished in a lovely modern style and everything you need is there including towels .The beds are super comfortable. There is a lovely view of the Cite of Carcassonne from the balcony. We will definitely go back . Great location just outside the walls of Carcassonne. 15 min walk to the castle. Great views of the castle from the balcony. Owner is very helpful and there to greet you on arrival. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Position of apartment excellent for sight seeing, all places of interest within a 20 to 30 minute walking distance. Good food and wine, friendly and very helpful, you could not ask anymore. Will certainly return. The view from the balcony was amazing especially at night. Location was close to lots of shopping, restaurants and the historic old medieval city. Parking was not a problem. We thought there would be a reception as it said 'open from 4-7pm' but after reaching locked door and no one there eventually we rang number and it turned out that was what we needed to do, but that wasn't explained on the paperwork. Nothing. Cost Street Payment across city. No wifi and no help getting it. Got a number of parking tickets due to not understanding french codes. No parking in area if driving a new car. On the 3rd floor lots of steps not knowing the address. No reception as stated in booking. Clearly states a reception all day. Turned up at property and was just all boarded up. Noone to help. Rang letsbookhotel.com twice. Told to go to reception even though I said there was not one. So when you arrive you have nowhere to leave your bags etc until you can enter property. Although owner offered us to leave them at her shop we had already got a taxi to the house. Wifi played up but that was due to provider but owner offered use at her shop.
