The very warm welcome from our hosts Caroline and Daniel, set the tone for our stay in Bordeaux. We were able to visit Bordeaux easily as Villa Saint Genes is only a short tram ride into the city. Our room overlooked the garden,was decorated warmly, and was very comfortable having coffee and tea facilities and a small fridge. Parking is at a premium as are all European cities. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, with homemade cakes and jams. We loved our stay and it was like staying with family a.
όλα τα σχόλια » Was 100% what we were expecting. Absolutely nice people - Caroline and Daniel- gave us the homelike feeling and provided with all we wanted. A very spacious nicely decorated room with all facilities, delicious breakfast, quiet garden with a pool - all you need to have a perfect vacation. We had also a chance to meet another couple who were on a honeymoon trip and stayed in the second guest room. It was a great experience!. Daniel and Caroline are wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home from the moment we dropped off our luggage early. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious; a wonderful environment to relax in and the shower was amazing! The continental breakfast was delicious; fresh pastries, homemade cake, yoghurt, coffee and juice. Very close to the tram for easy access into the City Centre. Can't wait to visit again!. The size of the room and comfort especially compared to most other places I have stayed in Europe - large room, big bed, large shower area and bathroom. The room was also air conditioned which was great given the warmer weather. The home cooked dinner option with the owners was delightful and excellent value. The beautifully decorated room was comfortable and spacious, with a large double bathroom. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying a Bordeaux wine was the perfect way to end a busy day - highly recommended. everything is perfect. It's a family hotel, the husband is runing wine business and wife is an artist . Clean and special decorated room make me feel like staying at home. Rate is not cheap but good considering the sweet room and complementary breakfast. 2mins to public transportation and 20mins to downtown on foot. Daniel and Caroline were very friendly and welcoming, always up for a chat and willing to share their knowledge of the local area. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, loved the bathroom! No English speaking TV channels - not that I watch much TV when away, but I do enjoy catching up on current events of an evening (CNN, BBC etc ) and as we spent 4days at the Villa this facility would have been nice. The location does not have any restaurants nearby, however, this is easily overcome with the excellent tram system nearby. Nothing. Coins needed for the nearby tram or else you would spend a fortune on taxis. If you speak no French it's a draw back, even a little goes along way in general in France. Parking was a challenge, and the room we had backed up to a schoolyard, so we awoke to a very noisy assembly of schoolchildren awaiting class. Nothing. Perfect all the way. N/A. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
