Located along the Aura River, this hostel is 5 minutes’ drive from Turku Train Station. It features communal kitchens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with a fridge. Basic accommodation is offered at Hostel Turku, all with a wardrobe, desk and shared bathroom facilities. A 24-hour reception is available, along with a laundry room and vending machines. Turku Hostel sells the tourist TurkuCard and also provides bicycle rental on site. Turku Castle and Turku Harbour are both within 2 km of the hostel, while central Naantali is 20 minutes’ drive away.

Very frendly staff - I had asked some questions a few times and always have got answers. Very thin walls (it's not bad, but a feature), we can hear all our neighbors speaking about. At one night they started speaking between 2-3 am. I got angry and told them very loudly "Keep Silence!" At the same moment they finished their speaking and said me "Kiitos". The hotel is extremely clean and very comfortable. We forgot our slippers and walked in the room and corridors barefoot. Showers are for common use, but you do not notice anyone near, like your private one. Showers are separated from toilets and very clean inside. In the center of Turku, easy to find. Hotel has private parking in the yard for 5-7 cars.

The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the Moomin world by the boat Ukuppeka or with a special Moomin bus. The city center is a 15-minute walk or a few minutes by bus. Everything was fantastic. The rooms, beds were clean and nice/ The staff was very friendly and helpful : they solved problems at once. We cooked in the kitchen and could find there everithing we needed. Very close to the center and shops. Clean, friendly staff, free lockers, and big kitchen if you want to cook your own food, which could be cost effective in a country like Finland. It was a very Nice hostel. Clean, enough room to relax and the rooms were not too small. I will defenately come back here again. Peaceful, comfortable, nice staff, free wireless Internet, facilities for cooking, fridge, good value for money. Very inexpensive. The local knowledge and assistance of the staff was invaluable, they saved us many problems. Close to canal with restaurants & to bus stop to harbour. Very clean & tidy. Friendly. The best hostel which I've ever stayed!! Everything was clean! And staffs were very kind!. Stuff was helpful and friendly. There was a kitchen. There was also a fridge in the room. I liked a comfy stay with my friends to have a possibility to make food for ourselves. Enough showers and restrooms are available. The staff is friendly. The wifi reception excellent. Clean. nothing. The breakfast was rather poor and ladies who served it was not welcome in the morning. none. The breakfast wasn't included in the price, so I had to pay extra 5.50 € for each one. The breakfast was also fairly poor. Other hostels offer better breakfast and included. I don't know; maybe this is Scandinavia, so everything should either be more expensive or of less quality, if for the same price. The toilets and bathrooms were separate and away from the rooms. Breakfast could be better, the bread was a bit dry. The rooms are very spartan and it was a long distance to the shared bathroom. Rude guests made noise up to midnight until told be quiet. then around 3am in night some other drunk guests woke evryone up when then came back drunk from pub. could be more than 1 computer available. Street noise. At the price there is nothing relly to complain about. I guess the toilets and showers were located a bit far away from the male dormitories. Wifi was not good. It depends on your roommate. If somebody is snoring, it will be nightmare. Our key cards can't open the door for few times at different time no matter morning, afternoon, evening or night...we need to go back reception to fix it... Maybe the system is time to upgrade?. Numbers of toilet are not enough... Very cold in the room!. Small room's without lockers. The WIFI internet was out of service for 2 days when I stayed. It was terrible and when I asked the stuffs when it will be fixed? and they replied: " There's nothing we can do''!!!.
