The reception - Mamook is very helpful and friendly. My gf felt uncomfortable with the rooms and he immediately changed the bed sheets and everything else but when my gf still feels uneasy because of the theme of the room, he changed a new room for me!! His actions has sincerely touched us and his practical tips and jovial character made our stay so memorable. He is warm, caring and cares for all the visitor! Keep it up ! He is truly a gem in the hotel.

Even in 2011 with all instability in Egypt, even the hotel is nearby (15 minutes walk) by the famous Tahrir Square, I had an excellent time in this hotel among nice, polite and friendly people.

I stayed here 3 days - a solo female traveler - during November 2013, during the curfews. The Staff was very friendly - they offered travel advice, current events, and taxi services. The area of Zamalek is very safe - day and night. The rooms are old but clean. -
