When you first arrive, especially if at night, you may think you've
made a horrible mistake. The outside of the apartment is not very
promising. However, once inside, you may never want to leave. We loved
our 2-bedroom apartment and immediately started talking about wanting

Amazing location; a few minute walk from central train station and city center. This is a beautifully restored old building with a great view of the park; near bars, shopping and transportation (tram). The rooms are huge, high ceilings, grand style, modern and very comfortable. Host is friendly and very helpful. Would strongly recommend for visitors to Zagreb; can't be beat for price. We also were able to park in courtyard which was very convenient!

We liked it very much. It's located inside the center so you can walk to every interest spot. And if you wish, it's very close to a main square tram station and also not to far from the train station. The rooms are pretty, rather clean. The staff was always kind and patient. The localization is just perfect, its on a pedestrian street that is
full of bars, cafés and restaurants and all day long is full of people
drinking coffe or beer or just hanging out on the confortable chairs.
Its a very quiet and clean hostel, at least on the top floor where the
double rooms are. The staff was very helpful with booking day trips to
Plitvice Lakes, and searching trains and buses to nearby towns.

A lovely, small boutique hotel of just 6 rooms. Very unusual architect-designed house on 3 levels (no lift, if stairs are a problem for you) that overlooks greenery & trees. Lovely sitting-out areas and an excellent, light & airy breakfast room. The breakfast was elegantly served and the food of good quality, especially the breads. Comfortable, stylish, well-furnished and well-lit room. Very friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay welcoming and comfortable

As business consultant I can tell to all potential visitors coming to ZAGREB: Hotel ILICA - can be a case study for all young hotel managers of how to get benefits from hotel with very limited possibilities. I can recommend it for businessmen, turists who do not like ARTIFICIAL "keep smiling" and prefer very open minded and sincere attitude of hotel staff. These guys really like to serve and help...Nothing to do with trained "robots".

The landlady was very nice and treated us like we were her own family. We got even a better apartment than the original booking was. Everything was very clean and cozy. The location is very good, you have a good view and the city center is 10 min drive away. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had coffee and sugar.

It is really hard to say if this trip is luxury versus budget friendly. You get a lot for what you pay for which isn't super cheap but, well you get it. This is in the heart of everything and I cannot believe how comfortable the set up is. I loved having a kitchen which had everything including a filter coffee pot! -

I loved the hotel at once when viewing the pictures on letsbookhotel.com, then I liked it even more when right after receiving the booking confirmation I got a note from the owner of the hotel welcoming me heartily and asking me about the time of my arrival and then closer to my arrival they kept on contacting me and checking if everything was ok

The staff were so nice, welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The location fo the hostel is incredible, our room overlooked the 'cool' cafe/restaurant/bar street - Tkalciceva yet when the window was closed we heard nothing of the constant hub-bub of people enjoying coffee, beer and a bite to eat throughout the day.
The hostel is also only 15 minutes walk from the train station even with our luggage and it was very pleasant to walk from the station to the hostel through par
