Completely surrounded by greenery in its 2000 m² large garden, Villa Kate offers air-conditioned apartments with free Wi-Fi, satellite TVs and beautiful sea views. It is within 700 metres from the town's lively promenade and the beach.
There is a balcony or terrace in each of the apartments, which also come with a private bathroom with bath and hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchen facilities include a dining area, fridge and electric kettle.
You can shop for groceries and dine at a locally popular restaurant within only 200 metres from the Villa Kate. The sea coast is just 220 metres away.
Excursions to the impressive Blue Cave on the nearby Biševo Island are a must for visitors of Vis. They can be booked with local tourist agencies.
Free private parking is provided on site. The ferry terminal is 1 km away, and next to it there is a bus stop with connections to the lovely town of Komiža, which is 11 km away.

The second we arrived we where greeted by a lovely hostess who immediatly gave us some tips about sightseeing and places to eat.
We had the appartement in the back, the (enormous) balcony still has a beautifull view over vis harbour. We only stayed for 3 nights and i wish we stayed here longer! This is an awesome place for you if your on Vis island with some form of mobility.

We had such a good time while staying at Villa Kate. The mood was
very relaxed, and was the stress-free vacation we needed. The room
was very spacious, clean and came with a full kitchen and balcony
with a great view.
We had a great time with our accommodating and friendly host Zvonimir. He helped us with recommendations on what to do during out stay, and even took us to the nearby town of Komiža to show us around.
We hope to stay at Villa Kate again soon + will be sure to recommend to our fri.
Apartment was beautifully situated with a veranda view right across the village and the bay.
On arrival the owner took time to tell us all about the area...history. shops, beaches etc which was most helpful.
We had taken our hire car to Vis but the apartment was perfectly situated for an evening stroll into the village and around the marina.
Extremely well equipped apartment with all utensils, bedding etc required and immaculately clean.
Would hope to be back to Vis and to return to Villa Kate.
This was the favourite place we stayed during our stay in Croatia. Not mentioned on the website was the owner picked us up from the ferry, gave us a lift to the supermarket on the first day and also dropped us off at the ferry at 6.30am on our last day all for free.
We had a lovely terrace that overlooked the sea to the front and the lime and olive groves to the rear. Nice clean rooms, would love to go back.
What a lovely place... Beautiful views, short walk to town and amazing accommodation. Very comfy bed and waking up to that view is amazing. The very nice host even picked us up from the station and had a good time with us. I will definitely come back next year!.
The owner was very helpful and spoke excellent English. He was able to recommend places to see and how to get there. The apartment is finished to a very high standard with lots of space and fantastic views.
Both hosts were great, very clean place, loved the atmosphere. Absolutely no problems. Back deck was very large and air conditioning really helped us sleep during the heat. Great place to stay.

You have to visit island of Vis before it will be damaged by the mass tourism.
The place was fantastic- great view , comfortable, accessible, clean and close to restaurants shops etc. Staff were helpful and friendly and overall our stay was perfect!.

I drive a m-spec BMW and the driveway is a bit steep from the road, but you can still park closeby on the road. Other then that your golden here!.

strong - but honestly wasn't a big deal.

Kitchen needs more attention. Missing simple things like spatulas or fish slice for turning meat/ fish in pans. Also Oven,Washing machine and one toilet (there were two) were not working. other than that all good!.
Just a little thing, that Mariana hadn't told us that a taxi would be picking us up from the ferry. It was quite a walk and very hard to find.
Air con was only in living room, not bedroom. When we were there in August, it was 42degrees - could not sleep in boiling hot bedroom and had to sleep on sofa bed in living room.
