I was coming from Dubrovnik and we were 1,5 hours late because of the Bosnia-Croatia border crossing. Nevertheless, our host Lovre was still waiting for us and actually was in communication with our previous host trying to find out if we were save. We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

Location of hotel is ideal..short walk into city center, yet away from the crowds. Beach is across the street. Hotel is nicely maintained-rooms are a bit stark. But, staff was wonderful and the hotel offers a very comfortable atmosphere with nice dining area and very pretty setting. -

Well-located within the Old Town of Hvar with great harbour-front views; Suite 522 was spacious (must have been at least 40 sq m), well-designed in contemporary style and colours and had a 2-person jacuzzi in the bathroom which our four-and-half year old loved! We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lipa. The facilities were excellent, rooms very spacious and smart with lovely views onto the bay. The pool was good and the food very nice. The staff, in particular, were excellent. They spoke perfect English and did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely stay and to deal with any problems if we had them.

This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem.
In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff

Excellent hotel. Great facilities. The pool area is pretty special with wonderful views back towards Split. Better to stay here if visiting Split. - A stunning hotel with excellent facilities, friendly staff and overall worthy of its rating.

The rooms were stylish and modern, very big and it all looked really new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7. So location was good if you have a car.

I had left some documentation in my room, and the hotel was kind enough to deliver it to me, with one of the staff members as I had already left the island.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, with direct access to the outdoor pool (which, by the way, has some beds to stay in the sun where you can easily fall asleep and spend hours and hours).
Breakfast is very complete and it is served in the terrace of your room, which is next to the outdoor pool.
