  We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.

  Friendly and helpful welcome from the staff. Large very clean room with spare bedding, safe and balcony with chairs. Very good food served at breakfast and dinner.
