Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.

Stuff are professionals. They know how to deal with Guests .

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

Front desk staff and concierge were extremely helpful and gracious; they even arranged to have a small tart delivered to our room to celebrate my birthday! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Concierge, Nicholas knows everything. He provided excellent recommendations for dining, made the reservations and provided directions. There are great dining options close to the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee and cookies in the lounge 24 hours was a god -send after a day out in the Shanghai heat. The location of this hotel is perhaps only surpassed by its design. The rooms are something else here! Very well thought out, they could well be the best I ever stayed in. I would also be surprised if the pool did not get any design awards. Awe inspiring! -

Only thing I hope this hotel fixes is its individual room thermostat systen for heating and cooling. It simply does not work in the room. The hotel sets global heating and cooling and that is the temperature you have in your room. I complained fou7r times in ten days. My room was like a furnace and I had the thrmostat set at 18. One night it was s

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Breakfast was very good - additional wishes were possible, like freshly made scrambled/fried egg.
Room was huge (approx. 35sqm) and really comfortable, first mini-bar filling included (coke, sprite, beer, water and snacks).
Concierge was helpful (e.g. booking cab to airport - cost is 160 Yuan).

One of the best city hotels I have ever been! Deluxe room is very spacious, light, clean, modern... all positive! Staff is helpful, buffet breakfast is with wide choices of fresh made food! Metro station is 3 minutes walking distance from hotel which is very positive fact in Shanghai! WiFi available... Highly recommended hotel!
