I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. I loved the design. The authentic feel of the historic premises was
truly captivating. The design of the hotel is superb, blending old with
new in an absolutely perfect way. The staff were very helpful,
professional, warm and friendly, and dressed in traditional Chinese
clothing. One could get to know them all by name, and they are all
wonderful.

I requested a room on the east side as high as possible and was rewarded
with spectacular views over the cctv tower and beyond. Very stylish and
luxurious room with a big bath. Free wi-fi in room, too. -
The view was excellent. The staff were attentive. The lifts were very fast, 64 floors in seconds

Staff is very kind - one of our young guests (11-years boy) forgot his
passport in hotel and we were very happy when we called hotel 6 hours
later and were informed that his passport was found and now we can get
it - and so we did immediately, our flight was not cancelled. We are
very thankful to hotel staff fot this kindness and help !!! -

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie. The management really pays attention to the details which made our stay extremely comfortable. -

They provided a crib, bottle warmer, sterilizer, baby products without a word. They were fantastic with our son!!! Especially the Lounge staff

Room 7008 was brilliant - more like a suite. 2 plasma's/2 ensuites, great for the 3 of us.
Would recommend the Trip Advisor at the Hotel, they were excellent. (booked tickets for us for Great Wall/Kung Fu/Bullet train -
Breakfast was great! Room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was softer than most other hotels we have stayed at.

The hotel was a good place to relax and get away from the bustling streets of Beijing. The staff were nice and very helpful but their english was fair so it could be hard sometimes to communicate. Rooms were quite spacious and clean, and the pool was well looked after and clean. -

The staff were incredibly polite and the service was impeccable. They were also very helpful in providing us with "local knowledge" of where to go have fun, have good food etc etc.

The comfort of the beds is extraordinary, so is the quality of the food at breakfast and in the italian restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful. We still could use the pool area after checkout. 10min walking to the rail station and subway. -
