First night was in a newly reno'd suite. Wonderful. Esp loved the Nespresso machine provided in the room and the whole set up even if in a tiny space could satisfy me or a small group for a week or longer of business or pleasure. -

Hotel suite was larger than expected and we had two bathrooms. Having a
sink in the "kitchen" area. Outdoor pool. Being on the
doorstep of the Farmers Market. Being close enough to the village that
we could walk there in minutes to enjoy the Crankworx events but far
enough away that the noise and large crowds did not disturb us. -

It is the perfect place to take a break from a very busy life. The location in a quiet neighbourhood close to the sea is perfect.
The staff is very attentive. -

James (the manager) was amazing and very helpful! He was very
knowledgable about where to get a quick lunch and where to hike. The

The dinner we had at the lodge was excellent...very different and interesing combinations. The included breakfast was equally yummy with lots of choices.
The room was very comfortable and sitting out on the verandah in the comfy chairs was so relaxing and peaceful.
Loved the location along the river and away from the hustle and bustle.

located in the centre of Clinton which is very small ,but with interesting things to do .
Rooms were standard motel type but clean/comforatble etc . Breakfasts were enormous 3 pancakes the size of dinner plates or french toast at least 2 inches thick .Worth stopping just for that! -

Everything. I stayed for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom unit with balcony overlooking the mountains and a small kitchen. It was all super comfortable and cosy - loved relaxing at the end of each day in front of the gas log fire. The unit was well equipped and Wi-Fi was included. The location of the AlpenGlow hotel is great. right by the Village where everything happens!
The staff are very friendly and willing to help you choose the most suitable activity for you.
The room is very spacious and comfortable. We saved lots of money cooking our own meals at the kitchen of our room.
Building is very clean and well kept!
Great place to pass a little vacation with your friends!

First impression was disappointment, but once inside the decor was traditional log cabin with a modern twist, the welcome at reception was warm & informative. I actually booked this lodge thinking it was close to the highway through Clearwater, but turned out it was 34km off the track. However, it is a lovely spot, and the wonderful chalet room we had with a verandah more than compensated fir the short detour. A real find.

Beautiful location on the ski hill. Would be perfect for skiing as the
gondola is right out your back door. We were there in the summer and
amenities were a bit scaled back. Great rooms and hotel staff was great.
We were given a free upgraded room. -

We let us have a lake-side room so we enjoyed a very nice view of a lake and mountains. There is a railway across from the lake. There are relatively lots of long trains running all the time including early in the morning and late in the night, which we enjoyed watching but could be annoyance for those of who don't like trains. -

1) Doris! What a neat lady: owner, maid, information officer, story-teller and, best of all, gourmet COOK. Served us a delicious schnitzel with mushrooms, potatoes, veges. Plus dessert. With wine of course. On no notice!

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The cabins were perfect and very clean. Doris was exceptionally friendly and made us feel like family. The food was so delicious. Would definitely recommend Glenogle Mountain Lodge and Spa.

The welcome was friendly and relaxed (though anyone with an allergy to cats should be aware of Rita, the Inn cat who sleeps on the reception counter) and staff were helpful - eg. about storing luggage on the day of leaving.

We loved the stay. The manager is so friendly and nice and the restaurant was inexpensive and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and it was right there in the village of Ganges which is full of fun stores full of Art. Salt Spring Island has so many wonderful artists. We also loved Rita the cat who welcomed us at the reception desk. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. -
We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly. The staffs were very helpf

Wow! The staff were down to earth, friendly and accommodating. They made
every effort to make us comfortable and were fantastically flexible when
our plans changed last minute. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! -
Wood-based design had a comfortably rustic feel.
Love the Howe Sound beers served at the brew pub.
