rooms appeared clean and were comfortable. Breakfast was more than I expected and dinners were very good. Loved the gin and tonic drink too! Location was perfect. Most of all, the staff were all extra special, smiles, helpful and seemed to enjoy their job! -

The hotel exceeded our expectations on almost all counts. The service,
the staff, the location , the hotel ambiance , the food, etc. all
exceeded the high standards that we were looking for. We are on a month
long holiday and this stay was our high point of the entire trip

Stunning Hotel in every way. The staff were outstanding, incredibly helpful, professional and courteous. The concierge knew us by sight and greeted us each time by our names - fantastic touch! Room was fantastic for a young family and location is brilliant. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. 10 Stars!!!

We found a long series of lovely details and atmosphere, which made our stay.... "unforgettable".
The restaurant's cuisine is exquisite, with a lovely atmosphere and a gorgeous sea view.
Our dog is important for us. Therefore it was important to see the hotel is not only pet friendly, but "pet lover". -

Loved concierge floor. Michael was tops, as was the chef and all staff.
My sister got sick and they took amazing care of her. Breakfast and view
was awesome. It's not cheap but worth every penny. Love the Le Labo
toiletries, classy all the way. They even drive you in the bmw and took
our bags to the cruise ship. -

We loved the location by the ocean; the food was excellent and the rooms were not only very comfortable and spacious but decorated to perfection. The staff was also wonderful. -

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The reception staff were excellent, particularly Lisa and Ena. We were given an upgrade to a one bed suite which was lovely, very spacious, comfortable bed and nicely furnished. The location was perfect for shop, restaurants etc in the lower village. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. -

The Toiletry items were top notch Aveda products, the coffee was starbucks. the breakfast was delicious and fresh. Pool area was clean and beautiful.

Octant fill in the excellent spaces on my iPhone. I want fill then all in. This hotel should be rated a ten star. I have never been in a hotel where all the staff is Trained. I am in a business that does training and I know when staff is trained. This is really something from the past you font see anymore. Please let all the staff know that

Luxurious oasis overlooking the water...a restful pied-à-terre to discover Victoria and the Island. Our stay felt more like a visit to a friend's country manor. Wonderful dining options - fab chef! And the personnel is consistently friendly and helpful (thank you Caitlyn!)
Will be 'our place' whenever on the Island.

The staff at the Loden were exceptional, nothing was a problem and all very friendly and professional. The rooms are large and gorgeous and the small touches such as a welcome back gift of gourmet chocolate pistachios and sparkling water was a lovely surprise.
The massage at the spa was also divine.

The hotel is my favourite in Vancouver so far. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar was very nice and had an open front to the street, the bed was very comfortable the wifi was free and fast, the room was clean and had everything I needed (including an iron). The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. My husband and I stayed for two nights in one of the newly remodeled fourth floor rooms. Very nicely done with keeping the old Hume hotel design yet quiet, comfortable and climate controlled.
Always enjoy the complimentary breakfast and the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had a great time in Mike's pub watching a hockey game on the huge screen.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. I stayed on the 4th floor where the hotel has newly renovated the Room. The room was really good (brand new) and the bed was perfect to sleep on.
The restaurant was nice and Breakfast was also good. Highly recommended to anyone.
