Beautiful rooms and resort, nice views of the Burrard Inlet/Harbour and Stanley Park, very comfortable bed and furniture. Location was fabulous, on the water and within walking distance of all
the cool neighborhoods in Vancouver, the port and Stanley Park. Views of
the harbour were lovely, beautiful property and our room was huge and
the Heavenly beds are dreamy. We paid a very affordable price that was
three times cheaper than what the same room in Miami would have cost.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a late check-in, and
someone was there, as promised, to get us settled in with everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buchan Hotel. It is small, quaint
and well kept. It's close proximity to Stanley Park was what
initially caught our eye and we weren't disappointed. The staff was
most accommodating...allowing us to check in early...(we had a very
tired child with us) It is exactly as advertised...it's not your high-
end, corporate hotel...so it suited us perfectly!! Some tranquility in
the city! Thank all of you at the Buchan for a wonderful stay!!

The main advantage of Riviera is location: right in the middle of Vancouver's beautiful downtown, 10 mins walk to Stanley park, 5 mins to waterfront, etc. Room are surprisingly spacious for a hotel and come with full kitchen (stove including). Very large king room with a small fridge/sink area, big windows/sliding door and lots of light. Comfy bed. Clean and very quiet. Four high speed elevators, so no waiting. Friendly staff. We asked for a higher floor if possible, and they put us on the 37th-- amazing views of English Bay, Kits, Lost Lagoon, etc.

Exceptional value and superb central position. Cheap (for Vancouver) car-parking and no need to move the car once in the hotel. Staff very friendly. Clean, large room, big-screen television, nice en-suite, balcony, express lifts, express check-out, stunning views. Request a high floor unless you are scared of heights. We were on the main floor so we didn't have to climb stairs or take the elevator.

The hotel was old but modernized. Great entrance with the ivory color
theme. The bathroom was retiled, new fan, and matching floor. Despite I
ordered a single double room, I was not charged extra for my sister
staying with me. For the price of $79 before taxes, the room was a great
value. We were accessable to the Lagoon and the Outdoor Jazz
Festival...only 3 blocks away on Robson Street. What a great part of

All of the staff were very helpful. The harbor view was excellent, and the water-front walk is only a few steps away. This location is very convenient for both the water-front activities and downtown shopping. -

The staff at the Loden were exceptional, nothing was a problem and all very friendly and professional. The rooms are large and gorgeous and the small touches such as a welcome back gift of gourmet chocolate pistachios and sparkling water was a lovely surprise.
The massage at the spa was also divine.
