One of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in. Great beds and very spacious. I will stay again for a late arrival into Ottawa as the price was less yet a better hotel than the others that I have stayed at in the past. -

Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that
it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very
helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade
during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.

Fabulous breakfast. Great choice if you are in town to do work at the university. -
The breakfast in the cafeteria was great. Lots of selection. Burned out bulb in the bedroom was replaced promptly. Kitchen and washroom areas were clean.

Having spent 40+ weeks a year (for over 20 years) in hotels very much like this one I can honestly say that the staff here are in a class of their own. I like facilities, staff services on desk, room services. The parking facilities is also very good.
My family like because there is a wave pool, hot tub and other rides. They enjoyed a lot.

This place has everything. You don't even have to pull out your laptop! Computer AND PRINTER all in your room. Free laundry on one floor, exercise room, great free breakfast and close enough to walk downtown to the tourist areas. Four or so blocks down side street to Rideau Canal -- great walking site! Will definitely stay here again if I have the pleasure of another trip there.

Our room rate was $111 plus tax. It was a suite with lots of space. A
kitchenette fully stocked with necessary dishes, utensils, pots pans,

The Cartier Place is a wonderful hotel. Centrally located to many of
the attractions. One feature that we enjoyed was the kitchenette.
Helped save us a little money by cooking breakfast in the morning so we
were not rushed to get out of the hotel in the mornings to find
something to eat.

Friendly receptionists. Good breakfast at reasonable price. I was particularly impressed by the gracious booking of the shuttle bus back to the airport and by the elderly gentleman who was able to retrieve my luggage and wait for me until the arrival of the shuttle bus. It's centric. My room and my bed were big. Good/affordable meals. - The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Pierre who was working the front desk on Dec 31st and Jan 1st he was outstanding in his customer service. Our interaction with Pierre made the trip memorable.

The hotel absolutely accommodated my somewhat specific requests about not having a room close to elevator, ice machine, not having an adjoining room and otherwise potentially noisy areas. The result was a fabulously quiet and relaxing 5-day stay. -

Great room. Very spacious with a good size sitting room, a nice dining area and a full kitchen with 4 appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave) and everything you need ( plates, cutlery, pots, etc...). Excellent location, right on the bus route and walking distance to the Parliament and several other attractions. . -
