  We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly and this is valid for everybody (security, front desk, waiters, room service etc). The people from the front desk always had a smile on thei... τι λέει ο κόσμος » r face and were very helpful for taxi, recomendation to order restaraunt, clubs, etc The spa is really nice, romantic and the massages are very good b - Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

  For me this was a unique experience. Loved the 'totally tropical' vibe. Room 6 was a wonderfully large, airy, comfortable space in which to relax and recharge after hectic days in downtown Rio. The views are of course out-of-this-world (and entirely why I chose to stay here). Superb. To conclude, a thoroughly positive experience and one I'd happil... τι λέει ο κόσμος » y repeat. No review of the Gavea Tropical Boutique Hotel would be complete without a huge 'Thank You' to the manager, Raniere. He goes 'above and bey - very friendly staff, surroundings, cleanness
