Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant. Also the food is unique and delicious. will use it again. -

Right on the Copacabana beach, Fantastic pool on the roof overlooking the beach. - On Copacabana. Excellent view of the sea - sugar loaf as well as Christ from roof top. Good swimming pool on roof top and service. Exellent buffet; Morning, lunch and dinner.

Great location - 5 minutes walk to Copacabana beach. It is located in a safe area, on a main street. The reception team is very helpful and informative! Room is clean, tidy and spacious. There is a wide variety of food at breakfast. As for dinner, you can either have buffet or ala carte. Again, there is very good selection of food. Overall, it was

Superb staff, no language difficulties even for a non Portugese speaker. Excellent restaurant, buffet breakfast to suit every taste. Location, two minutes from the beach, and a bus to almost everywhere in Rio on the doorstep.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. The Swimingpool area in the 39th floor has a wonderful view of Copacabana, and Sugar loaf! The location is also very convenient. just cross street of the beach and many restaurants close b

Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on
Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for
best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom!
Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean,
quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is
excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

The location was perfect for our needs. We just stayed one night as a
stop over in Rio (leaving the next day for Bahia) and the Santos Dumont
airport is literally a 10 minute walk from there! The rooms were nice
and clean, no complaints. -

From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing.
The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a
room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar
and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!)
and were upgraded to a suite with spectacular views of Copacabana Beac

Great location, excellent facilities including lounge chairs on the
beach. All inclusive mini bar, late check out. We only stayed one night
at the -
Friendly and helpful staff. We had mentioned on the 'special
request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a
special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of
champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture. Spacious
reception area fantastic sea view if you get any of the front rooms

We were upgraded on arrival to a sea view room which was absolutely
fabulous. The room was ultra comfortable and the bathroom very large.
The hotel had the luxurious feel you would expect from this standard
with nice furniture and carpets in public areas. The pool area had
plenty of sunbeds and nice white towels and a champagne bar in the
corner.
