Friendly staff, they'll do everything to make you feel comfortable! Great place, perfect location in Olinda, very clean (certainly the cleanest hostel I've ever been to - and i've been to a lot of hostels). I strongly recommend Canto dos Artistas!.
We loved everything! The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the really did their best to accomodate us.

- Female dorm smelled of sewage
- Owner slept in dorm when drunk (2 nights)
- Owner allowed friends to stay in private rooms after telling paying guests they could for a discounted rate
- Toilet in dorm not working
- Owner charged guests on sliding scale (35R for some, 50R for others)
- Breakfast not included
- Owner walked in, without knocking, to dorm AND bathroom NUMEROUS times, seeing me naked (there were not sufficient locks). Seriously.
