  This was our second stay in the Monte Alegro. Great location near the Arcos de Lapa. Plenty of supermercados, banks, restaurants in the area. Staff were energetic and knowledgable. Very helpful with taxis and service. Rooms were large and clean. Nice pool area. Very good breakfast. - The staff are very friendly, helpful, and competent.
