Pontal has an excellent location on the beach! Don't try and go to
Rio centro from here. Just relax in a hammock and go for a swim or walk
to the nearest (beautifull an quiet) beach. You can drink and eat in the
garden (just move tables etc.). Rooms are fine and some with a view.
Stay a few nights to recover from Rio! Have the best acai (with the

It just in front of the ocean. A paradise for the surfers. Guys in the hostel lend you a board for a good price.
Hammocks in the hostel are great.
Kitchen is available to cook your stuff. Also you can order some food (price is higher than in the restaurants outside, but it is worth if you are lazy).
Good experience, I'll suggest it to the friends.
