Fantastic position in betweem Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. We had the master suite which was perfect if you are travelling with a grown-up son. Fantastic view over the sea and Copacabana!
I was jogging barefeet along the waterline every morning! Faboulous!
Still it was easy to reach shops and the city centre by underground.

The hotel is directly at the beach and within an easy walk to Ipanema and Arpoador, both of which are nicer than Copacabana. The sea can get a bit dirty at this end of the beach but then it is a 5 minute walk to the above.

The hotel staff was really kind, trying always to help and find solutions to the travellers' requirements. - Brilliant location, very helpful easygoing staff, nice roof pool, excellent bar, well equiped rooms, great breakfast buffet, free web acces in your room.

The welcome at the front desk and the contact with all of the staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and provided suggestions as to the museums we should visit. A well-equipped hotel in good location (close to beach and to Metro). Spacious room with sleeping and living area separated by a sliding door. Very good (though somewhat noisy) air condition, kitchenette, balcony, ... all you need, and very clean and quiet (except a/c). Good breakfast. Friendly staff, but not all of them understand English.

- The receipton staff was fantastically helpful in a couple of ways (and
most of them spoke fantastic English)
- the Copacabana is only 5 minutes walk away (and there are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel)

Great location near beach, restaurants, fast food kfc etc,
shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.

The staff at Augusto's were phenomenal. Fantastic customer service.
The staff are what made this hotel worth the money. In particular Yuri
and LIsa. They were so helpful with recommendations, calling restaurants
and communicating for us. Just fantastic hotel staff. -

Great hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only a couple
of blocks to the beach. Would return without fail if I was to visit
again on Copocabana Beach. Great View of Christ The Redeemor from the
rooftop pool which was clean and refreshing. -

Professionalism of staff-English speaking staff at front desk 24 hours daily during our stay-Dec.18-21,2013. My wife suddenly became ill during the middle of the night and the staff directed us to a 24 hour clinic only two blocks away with an English speaking Doctor leaving us very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel and the clinic. -

The reception staff spoke English and were very helpul in advising and assisting with tours, bookings of taxis and general advice. The room staff were very efficient and the restaurant was great with both breakfasts, and al a carte meals for dinner. The location, one street back from the beach at Copacobana was excellent.

I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk.
Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget.
Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!) Waiters also rock! and Ton, bar tender is a Carioca-Nordeste

I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach,
could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The
reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff
happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

I express my appreciation for the quality of service offered to me during my stay in the hotel which is well located near the Copacabana Metro station and walking distance to the beach. I would like to convey my special appreciation to Mr. Marcelo and Mr. Artur for their superior service. -

This hotel was better than what we expected after reading comments from
travellers posted on the web. Our room (number 404) was refurbished
recently; the sea view was gorgeous; the breakfast very good. The
receptionist who was on duty the night of our arrival was polite and
helpful... -

Right on the Copacabana beach, Fantastic pool on the roof overlooking the beach. - On Copacabana. Excellent view of the sea - sugar loaf as well as Christ from roof top. Good swimming pool on roof top and service. Exellent buffet; Morning, lunch and dinner.
