We got a very warm welcome that was more than superior. Everywhere was clean, outside nice garden and friendly donkey. We loved it. On the other day, the owner took us to the train station in Gent without refusing any payment for this not included service. -
I don't think I have ever felt more welcomed at anywhere I have stayed. Smart modern room

Het Pawenhof is a wonderful example of a home from home B & B with wonderful hosts and a fantastic breakfast which meets all expectations. Everything about our stay was perfect. The room was beautifully renovated, clean and cozy. Really comfortable bed, great bath, quality linen, a selection of teas and drinks in the room. The breakfast was delicious. We have already recommended the B&B to all friends travelling to the area, and we can not wait to visit it again.

The owners are very polite and friendly. They have a lovely friendly pet cat who obviously enjoys meeting strangers. The rural location is beautiful and quiet, but only minutes away from nearby towns by car. They have two guest rooms, so the service is almost bespoke. What a relief it was to arrive on this cosy B&B where everything was clean and decorated with taste, the owner was always super friendly, the bed was very comfortable and you could watch French dvd's in the room or even take a bikeride. Also the breakfast was excellent. I warmly recommend this place! -

The B&B is located in a quiet residential area. It is named after a huge and beautiful tree in the garden. The guest rooms are spacious, luxurious and very tastefully decorated. Excellent facilities and superior service. You cound only wish that all people in the service industry would care their guest in this way.
Very kind and generous owners. My daughter stayed over with her friend after I have booked the hotel for them blindly, I will recomend the hotel to all business partners or couples that need to visit Gent. You won't regret!

Arriving quite late in the evening the hosts were welcoming above and beyond what was necessary. We were given drinks and snacks , and the lady even offered to cook us something to eat. Incredible value for money. Breakfast was also very impressive . -
The couple running the hotel were exceptionally kind and hospitable.We enjoyed nice local beer

We felt at home and were made very welcome. Hilde provided all the information needed from where and how to travel by train, to brochures/booklets on Ghent and Bruges. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. We will definitely stay here again. -

A little bit off the beaten track outside of Ghent but this was why I chose it, I didn't want to stay in the town. Welcomed by the hosts with a local aperitif which I then bought from the local supermarket. Loved their 5 cats but they are not allowed in guest rooms so no issues if you have allergies. -
