  Beautiful rooms, stylish design. We stayed in Graaf Van Vlaanderen Room (Executive Double Room) and Modern Room (Deluxe Double Room with Balcony). Both are cosy. It's nice to sit by a fireplace with a beer. :) Wonderful breakfast. Lovely amiable hosts and staff. Excellent advices given. The recommended places were beautiful. Didn't use TV (huge) nor fire as too short a stay / summer, but nice to have. Would return.

  We stayed here on a one night stop-over on route to Germany. The hotel reception staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly - a really charming women. For 10 Euro we got secure parking in the hotel's private courtyard - very convenient when staying in the centre of town. The hotel is linked with a lively Irish Pub.   The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.
