Staying at Hotel Evido was simply great mainly because of the ambience of the room and also the location-very close to Hbf. The location was good; just a half hour's walk, or quick bus ride, to old town. - It was clean and nice and I felt like at home. All staff people were friendly, speeking in several languages, helpful in every queation like booking tours, asking weather forcast, maps, places to visit, taxi booking and so on and so on. I had really no problems and no questions without answer!

If you do not know where to have a breakfast have it in the hotel! If you are travelling by car there is an underground parking so you do not have to worry about a parking space even if the hotel is full, and you probably will not use the car because with a SalzburgCard all buses are free! Buying a SalzburgCard is a big advantage and very good deal if you want to see most of the museums (the castle with the trolley) - just get a brochure of the SalzburgCard and you'll find out why it is a must!

from the train station. Although it is not necesarilly near the main
centre of town, it was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Hotel is located on a
quiet street, and the hotel is secure so you must have a card to get

I needed after a long day of touring.

Reception staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a less crowded area near a highway and near a MacDonalds. Beds very comfortable. Very clean linen. Free parking.
