We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. There was a lift which was convenient. The hotel was easy to reach by car with ample free parking. There was a bus but we did not feel the need to use it. There was an excellent restaurant across the road which served Italian and Pakistani meals. - The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean. Plenty of parking was available and a great selection of tasty options was provided for breakfast. The staff were hospitable and the Salzburg card (which is great value for money - was available for purchase at the front desk.
