The apartment is located within walking distance of the main train station, a grocery store and the main Salzburg attractions. The balcony provided a welcome respite from the heat, and a lovely view of the mountains. The manager was quick to respond to our requests and concerns.

From the time we arrived and stepped out of our car outside the hotel to the time we left, all hotel Sacher staff were extremely plesant. Our standard room we booked was like a mini-suite. Their manner of taking careof guests is superb. As a "fussy" traveller, I highly recommend thishotel for their first class service. It is not too much nor too little.It is amazing to know that we were taken care in every little way andstill feel it when we think back.

Freindliness, cheerfulness and helpfulness of staff. Being small sized and fanily run it had a distinctive personality and we were treated as individuals not standardised units of consumption. good location all staff friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, able to access breakfast a little earlier on last morning. Also most helpful in returning item to us which we left behind- thankyou - the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and they were all willing to help with directions or give recommendations on things to do in Salzburg.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions
