From the time we arrived and stepped out of our car outside the hotel to the time we left, all hotel Sacher staff were extremely plesant. Our standard room we booked was like a mini-suite. Their manner of taking careof guests is superb. As a "fussy" traveller, I highly recommend thishotel for their first class service. It is not too much nor too little.It is amazing to know that we were taken care in every little way andstill feel it when we think back.

The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of Salzburg which was not that obvious to us from the description of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing or snobby like in some other higher end hotels. Self contained, private apartment in a residential block. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful - an unexpected flight change was accommodated without charge as was a variation of check-in time. The appartment is very comfortable, well furnished and clean( they do charge €50 cleaning fee).We had number 912, with access to a terrace. The view was towards Alps / river and part of Downtown .
Laundromat on premises is a plus. Safe parking underground(€10/day extra). Mr Forisch is very efficient at addressing issues.
They did allow one extra child no extra charge.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and really made our surprise birthday trip with all of their attention to detail. The room was large and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Breakfast was superb and well worth the money, and the location outside the city centre is no problem as it's easily walkable (15 minutes along the river) or 5 minutes by bus. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

This was an excellent location for great value. It was a 10 minute walk
from the train station. Although it is not necesarilly near the main
centre of town, it was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Hotel is located on a
quiet street, and the hotel is secure so you must have a card to get
access inside. I stayed in a single room, so it was simple but just what
I needed after a long day of touring.
