  This hotel stands in an excellent location. We highly recommentd this hotel for those wishing to stay in a central location in Salzburg. The staff, facilities and cleanliness were excellent and we shall certainly recommend this hotel to friends.   Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  Self contained, private apartment in a residential block. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful - an unexpected flight change was accommodated without charge as was a variation of check-in time. They looked after our luggage prior to our flight home. It was good value, quite basic but comfortable accommodation which served a purpose. The r - The appartment is very comfortable, well furnished and clean( they do charge €50 cleaning fee).We had number 912, with access to a terrace. The view was towards Alps / river and part of Downtown . Laundromat on premises is a plus. Safe parking underground(€10/day extra). Mr Forisch is very efficient at addressing issues. They did allow one extra child no extra charge.

  The hotel is equipped with an elevator for convenience of baggage movement to the room. The connected guesthouse served an excellent dinner.
