Located at the entrance to Bad Vigaun, 15 km from Salzburg, Hotel Langwies features a spa area and a bathing pond. Hallein and the A10 motorway are a 5-minute drive away, and a train station is just opposite the hotel. Trains are reaching Salzburg centre within 30 minutes. Furnished in elegant country-house style, most rooms have a balcony. All rooms have cable TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and bathroom amenities. The spa area includes 3 types of saunas and a small gym. Typical Salzburg specialities made from organic ingredients can be enjoyed in the restaurant or on the terrace. You can also taste home-made bacon and other meat products. A playground and a small farm with pigs, cattle, rabbits, ponies and a donkey are located on site. Situated amid the Tennengebirge Mountain Range, the Hotel Gasthof Langwies is only a 15-minute drive away from the city of Salzburg. The historic Salt Mine Bad Dürrnberg is 3 km away. The bus and train station are located right across the hotel.

Τι λέει ο κόσμος

Although I didn't use it, the spa is very nice. The location is also good if you want to hike or go to The Eagle's Nest, about 1/2 hour away. Very friendly staff who were eager to help. The welcome was good on arrival. The room was ok but the design means you have the outside diners below your window at night and noise went on until late, which is not ideal for families. This hotel was ok but a little overpriced for very standard fair.
