I made a wrong booking for a day too late and the hotel was full for the night, but the lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and found me a room that someone else missed a flight for. She totally made my day.
Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside.
My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport. I ended up having to take a taxi that cost $15 to the hotel.
Shuttlebus back to the airport is availab

I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the
morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

We have stayed here a few times, and have just had another 2 nights. it is sad to constantly read the poor reviews the hotel gets. Sure there are things that need some fixing up, and yeh it's not the Hilton, but it sure is a great friendly and convenient place to stay and relax. Was at RPA for surgery. Found the staff very friendly & very helpful. Staff were very understanding of our situation with the operation & helped out with everything we asked. Our house cleaner went above & beyond as she knew Tim had surgery- every morning as we went for his rehab she dropped everything & did our room when we were out. EVERYTHING! The place does not look amazing from the outside but my was it a delight upon entrance and seeing the garden. The room was so clean and the water features with the little gold fish was fantastic. The Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were neat and facilities were good like the common kitchen and Wi-Fi. TV, Iron Box, Kettle, Coffee / Tea Sachets and fridge was available. The hotel was secured with a secured lock in the front. The location and Transport access is aver big plus point. I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.

everything was excellent and would not look at any other hotel, next time I vist Sydney. 10 out 10 would recommend it to any one. - Good central location. Quiet at night. Helpful staff. Easy to get to and from the airport via the Museum stop.

It is a very convenient location for any events at the Sydney
Showground. The free parking is a bonus too. And the price was also very
reasonable. -
It was close to our location of our weekend and had a lot of facilities

The place felt like home rather than a hotel. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance to transportation.The unit was maintained and we felt almost pampered. Hotel is very well located near Central station. Big mugs for coffee and tea and big glasses. Enough coffee and tea. Lots of thick pillows. Fridge, kettle, etc. Big desk. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Good sized room. Everything in the room worked & was nicely presented. Comfortable bed. Helpfull staff. We had a room at the back - so it was very quiet even though the motel is on a busy road (recommend to ask for this). -
