We arrived at the hotel and saw the stairs and thought "Oh No", but reception immediately said they would bring our bags up for us. We were really grateful. Same thing in the morning. I made a wrong booking for a day too late and the hotel was full for the night, but the lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and found me a room that someone else missed a flight for. She totally made my day.
Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside.
My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport. I ended up having to take a taxi that cost $15 to the hotel.
Shuttlebus back to the airport is availab

Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

I usually stay here when I visit Sydney. It's right in the heart of the CBD and very cheap. There are certainly more luxurious hostels, but you pay more for them. 790 is cheaper, whilst still being a decent place to stay - generally clean, comfortable (you know a good mattress is important when you're staying at a hostel!), and most of the staff a

This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls
and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross
intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's
gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. -
People where friendly. In the middle of kings cross so going out was not
a prob

The staff who worked Monday night was very helpful, friendly and professional. I was impressed when she asked everyone to make sure they clean their own mess up in the kitchen! When I needed to borrow a towel, that was no problem...

Staff excellent. Our clean twin room had tiled ensuite, fridge, TV & aircon. We just had to walk down through a park (tennis courts & pool) & were at Central Stn, the hub for all transport. Although it was on a major road our room was pretty quiet. Staff organised shuttle to the airport which was $12 door to door whereas train to / from Central $15! Excellent pub & other eateries nearby.

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Good sized room. Everything in the room worked & was nicely presented. Comfortable bed. Helpfull staff. We had a room at the back - so it was very quiet even though the motel is on a busy road (recommend to ask for this). -

Close to Kings Cross and great value as well considering the location. The room was small. and a little run down but i don't expect the Ritz for the price I paid. It was very economical and the bed was clean and comfortable. Good value for money. -

Easy to book, cheap, can book for one night only unlike other backpackers -

Well situated for our requirements. Comfortable with excellent air conditioning considering the temperatures and humidity during our stay. - Staff was great, always helpful.
The room was clean and had a nice view!
