This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The gentleman at the front desk (guy from Tonga) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have whitel linens. Unlike any other hostel this one has sinful beds instead of bunk bed. Has clean big kitchen, tv room. Quiet most of the time. Conveniently located close to everything Major attraction. Darling harbour is only 5 mins walk. Shopping down the street, opera house about 15 mins walk. Love this place and gladly recomand. Yet few . όλα τα σχόλια »
Within walking distance of train station, hop on/hop off bus and
ferry terminals, Seaworld/Madame Trusaud's/Wild
World/Maritime Museum/Westfield Tower/Opera House. Clean,
easy access, good shared bathroom/kitchen/free laundry. Good
sized room with queen bed. Helpful staff. Good wifi in room.
For me, Location & Cleanliness is the winning factor. Being in the heart of Syd CBD, I don't have to worry about transportation even when I get back late nite. 15-20 mins walking distance to most attraction like Opera House, Syd Bridge & Darling Harbor.
The staff were excellent with assisting us to get our luggage to the 4th floor while the lift was being repaired. It was greatly appreciated that they also went out of their way to assist us to get a taxi to take us to the cruise terminal. Thanks heaps.
Great location, just 10 minutes walking for the principal touristic places! Free wi fi (even if, sometimes, it was quite slow), free laundry, good and clean kitchen where you can bring your food and cook it! Clean toilet! Great quality/practice rate!.
Great location, it's within walking distance to the Opera house and close to transportation. My room was spartan, but clean. The bathrooms and showers were very clean too, and we liked that there were free laundry facilities.
The price was very fair and affordable. It was perfect for what I wanted. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was basic but extremely clean, tidy and fresh. Loved that wifi is at no extra cost.

Close to everything, good inexpensive,steak meal at corner pub. Could make own meals in communal kitchen, use washing machine,walk to sites.
It has a kitchen as well as the washing machine (free of charge). Also the location is wonderful. It only takes 10 minutes walk to the circular quay and only 3 minutes walk to the Subway station.
Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The place is well laid out with each floor having its own lounge, which is open planned, making you feel comfortable and relaxed.
The first time I entered into the toilet, I was impressed. I never thought backpackers' toilet could be that clean. Staff are very friendly as well. Definitely recommended.
The price was good, and the room was clean and tidy. The location in central Sydney was very convenient.
The communal loungerooms and kitchens (one per floor) were large.
Great location. Bathroons, kitchen and laundry in every floor maintain
the place organised. No more than two people per room is also great,
things don't get too crazy.

The staff were EXCELLENT. The facilities were fantastic, great location and value for money. Great price for a nice room I only shared with one person.
Location is really good, just two blocks away from George St and Victoria Shopping Mall. It takes only 20 min walk to get to the Quay and Opera House.
Room and communal area very clean, and well organised. Like an upmarket backpackers. Wifi signal also very good compared to others we have stayed at.
Only stayed for one night but really liked the feel of this new budget hotel. Great value for money and comfortable rooms and facilities.
I liked the fact that it was so handy to the city and trains etc. the lady at reception was lovely to deal with, so friendly.
It was very close to darling harbour and surrounding city sites , definately value for money

I stayed for 3 nite. WIFI working very well in the room for 1st nite but only available in lobby for the other 2 nite. Rest assured that it is a minor issue for me as I'm not in hostel most of the time.

The window in my room was not insulated very well and cold air was entering into my room.
The walls are rather thin and you can hear your neighbors. But I had earplugs so it wasn't a problem.
Shared bathrooms were a little bit messy, but that's the fault of other travelers. Cleaned regularly.

The shared bathrooms were a 25 metre walk from my room - and the automatic light switch went out during both of my showers.
The elevator wasn't working during the time I was there. The
bathroom lights work on timer, not very good if you wanna take a
long shower.
Toilets had a very urine smell, which I believe a stronger cleaning solution may help. Water had a nasty habit of leaking out from under the showers.
Lift didn't work at the time of stay.
Just ther person I shared with. Up and down and noisy all night long. But she was the only person like that in the whole place. Everyone else was really great and considerate.
They don't have an elevator, so we had to carry all of our luggage to the 3rd floor.
There are no towels and no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or towels. Light goes off automatically while you're in a shower.
rooms were off the communal area- which could make it noisy if there are loud guests. Door hinges were also very squeaky.
No complaints bearing in mind the cost and location.
I didn't like that the lift was not working. Large heavy suitcases ( too much shopping obviously) up to floor no 2 not good for a 54 year old.
The lift was not operating and we were on the fourth level, there was a bit of a mix up with room at first but once that waa sorted out evert thing was fine.

the urinal of male bathroom in Level 1 was broken.
things were missing. a shower was missing a door on our level it
was needed as we only had 2 showers for 10 rooms, ironing board was missing from our level, as was cutlery etc, and some detail cleaning was needed in the common rooms, stair wells.
no elevator or coat hanger in the shower room, other than that, love this place and will choose it again next time.

The automatic timer for the lights in the bathroom/showers could be longer.

Someone had taken the TV ariel, so there was no TV on our floor, so I went up a level, not an issue tho.

No lift. Not allowed to eat in room. Limited cups and utensils in kitchen. Rooms not serviced as indicated on booking system. We were in an ensuite room and there was one towel each, but no facecloth or soap etc. (website needs to update this info so guests know to take their own and that rooms are NOT serviced).
Given a room facing the street even though I requested a room away from it. Street was quite noisy and I slept badly in consequence.
No mention that towels were not provided. I was lucky I brought some intending for the beach.
I had some booking issues where i was booked for 6 nights instead of 7, but wasn't told and only found out when i asked that it was because the last night i was supposed to be moved to another room. Check your receipt when you first come in carefully!
