Set on the southern tip of Bondi Beach, this lively hostel boasts fantastic views of the Sydney Coastal walk from a rooftop terrace. Bondi Beachouse YHA is just 5 minutes' walk from both Tamarama Beach and Bondi Beach. Guests enjoy free WiFi in public areas and free use of snorkelling gear and body boards. There is a movie room, table tennis, a self-catering kitchen, secure bicycle locks and weekly backpacker activities. Surfboards are available for hire. Private and dormitory rooms are available, all include access to shared bathroom facilities. All dormitories include secure luggage storage. Bondi Beachouse YHA is just 10 minutes by bus to Bondi Junction Station, providing easy access to Sydney city centre. Coogee Beach is 4 km away. Limited parking is offered onsite.

Great location - just few minutes from Bondi beach. Very nice view from room and rooftop terrace. Very nice and helpful staff. Extremely helpful staff - great recommendations for the local area. Atmosphere, view from room. The location to beach, Bondi Junction and the City is excellent. The public transport system is very convenient. The other travellers were all polite, well behaved and had, of course, interesting travel stories to tell.

That you couldn't turn off the light/extraction in the bathroom - it was so loud you could hear it in our room even with the doors shut. Facilities, while they clean and functioned, were stretched with a ratio of one male and female wc/shower per ten rooms. Small and very basic room with one chair, cupboard and bunk bed. My requested female only dorm was not honored the first night. They had made a mistake with the booking. I was up all night in a room with a snoring man. Facilities could have been cleaner. I switched rooms the 2nd night and they never cleaned it from the previous guests. There were hair balls and potato chips all over. Bathroom on the first floor had many ants. Need group activities for solo travelers. Internet only works in part of the lounge and not in anywhere else at the hostel. Only 2 unisex toilets on one floor. There are not enough bathrooms and they need a good clean. the staff were a bit rude, no air con, strict drinking policy and i think it has bed bugs. The room was not bad, but smell like it was closed over a year. You have to pay or make deposits for everything... Key, cutlery, luggage room. I didn't like this. A bit dirty in then bathroom towards the evening. Reported that the overhead light in my room was flicking on and off continuously, but it wasn't repaired. Also hard to sleep with fire alarms going off regularly through one particular night. Filthy kitchen Filthy old carpets in hallway and rooms Staff was tired and not so helpful transport and shopping possibilitie. Small and dirty room. Empty reception desk Long waiting time to check in n out Noisy dwellers. The supervisor receptionist is a very inadeqae person.She is extremely unpleasant and denied any request. The double room extremely expensive;not even a chair in the room:only the bed!!!.
