  I liked almost everything and would have scored 'excellent' for all questions except for a few minor details that let the Buckingham down. I detailed them in my feedback at the time. Free wifi a definite benefit although a bit erratic at times. Good location for getting into the city as tram just around the corner at Highett. Excellent experience would definitely return if we came again.

  The staff were awesome. From the pick up & return to the airport by the hotel shuttle bus was a fantastic service. This alone would make me stay here again. Their night shift driver "JP" even dropped me to the nearest Tram so i could use a more cost effective way into the city. Yeah it takes longer but for $3.50 return by tram to the city is a... τι λέει ο κόσμος » bargain, plus "JP" picked me up in the shuttle bus upon my return to take me back to the motel. This is a fantastic service. I would not hesitate to - myself and my new husband booked the wrong date we flew back into Australia,and at 11:30pm we were able to not only change it to that night-but a free shuttle came to get us!! the room was huge and so clean and bearly 5 mins from the airport. breaky was amazing and we even had a gym to go sweat some over eating from our hoiladay! the staff even helped us with a luggage scale so we could weigh our bags for our flight the next morning. i cannot say enough how amazing i found this hotel, and would

  Bed was comfy room was not small lots of wildlife around the motel grounds. Very efficient reception and checking in and out was a breeze staff were friendly and accommodating. - It was close to the main shopping strip... And had plenty of car spaces!   We had an enjoyable time. Staff great - very helpful, nothing too much trouble, room- very roomy, good size, comfortable, very clean, great quiet location, stones throw from everything. Will not be staying in city from now on , will be staying at Crest on Barkly. Wish I had known about this place years ago !   My wife and I picked this motel mainly because it looked a little different, and modern. We were more than a little impressed. Big shout out to the owners who obviously take a huge amount of pride in their work. They were friendly, courteous and professional. They were also very helpful with dinner options in the area. We will not hesitate - luke and laura have an oasis of half way stop on the way to Melbourne ! we have stayed at others on the princes hwy and they don't compare. we arrived late and wanted to eat at the marlo pub so laura rang ahead and our meal was waiting for us on arrival !what service ! thanks guys ,keep up the great work !:-)

  Really impressed with Budget 1 Hotel, really great facilities especially for the price - facilities included an outdoor pool, good restaurants, and gym. Staff were really helpful. Clean rooms, easy to get into the city, and supermarkets and grocers - The staff at reception are welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Hotel will hold the luggage for few hours until the flight time after check out. This was very helpful. There were sufficient facilities for internet access, restaurants etc., Simply a wonderful place to stay for the budget traveller. I would definitely take my family next time.
