The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the River View room, and were delighted with the views.
The spectacular fireworks display on the Yarra river was a wonderful bonus.
We would definitely stay there again. -

All staff absolutely superb - friendly, helpful and attentive, reception
staff and porters desk/concierge staff went out of their way to
ensure our comfort. Room has excellent ammenities, was well designed for
comfort and convenience and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location
for theatres and shopping could not be better.The hotel has a welco

Warm welcome from Susan at reception, glass of champagne at check-in desk and nice handwritten card with chocolates in our room that night from Susan wishing us a pleasant stay in Melbourne. Very personal touch from a large hotel.

The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you. The
room was spacious and very well appointed. They location would be
great if you had plans at one of the sporting venues and although you
were 2 blocks from the North/South tram routes, there were
East/West trams running one street either side of the hotel.

Amazing staff, especially concierge who always greeted us warmly and helped us with our twins. Very accommodating and sympathetic to our needs for our 6 month old babies. Well furnished rooms/suites for amazing value. Best location - just around the corner from flinders lane where lots of good restaurants / cafes located. One of the best experiences I've had at a hotel - particularly for the price we paid!

This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds. We were also touched that the staff had given us a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival! -

location.staff very pleasant. Value for money. We return every year and
it has a swimming pool..near the docklands and local shops (7 eleven),
Crown complex, Aquarium, immigration house.

When we arrived I asked if twin beds were booked. She said queen and
divan . I thought that was a bit rich having to stay on divan. I had
told my friend I usually stay at Mooloolaba as the screen showed the
one at Mooloolaba. She then said they could make king into twin. We
had booked I bed twin apt. When we came back at 4.30pm. To get our

great stay. -
I liked the fact that it was situated near the city attractions but not
too close, hence not too noisy. The tram stop was just by the hotel or
we could walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. There was a small
supermarket right next door. We were on 10th floor and had the views
without the traffic noise. The staff were nice and helpful and the
apartment was roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

proximity to the centre of melbourne, helpfulness and genuine friendliness of staff, high standard of cleanliness of rooms, disabled facilities - It's proximity to central location to many of Melbourne's shopping and sporting precincts, including public transport etc.
