Great location although currently there is construction going on across the road. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The first room we stayed in was quite small and noisy as it was looking out to the construction site but we asked to change rooms and were moved to a bigger room at the back which was lovely. It's very close to the city centre and the important tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen tv was great. It was really worth the money and I think it will make a great place to stay if you will mostly be outside visiting Melbourne and just need to have a good shower and sleep!.
όλα τα σχόλια » Really great position. The city centre is all in walking distance and a metro/tram station is one step far. Internet is unlimited and one can also print if necessary. In summer the terrace next to the kitchen must be great! The rooms are pretty confortable! The stuff is really nice and helpful!. The staff was very helpful and we were able to check in successfully even though we arrived late at night. The room was clean and linens/towels were provided, which was great. Very good location. Walking distance from Fed Sqare and Flinders station. The quiet atmosphere made our staying relaxing and enjoyable. although essential, both the room and the toilets were very clean and equipped. The rooftop terrace with the kitchen was also really nice. The staff was really helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised by my room. It was big, didn't let in too much noise from the street and very clean with every facility you could need. Good value for money and great location. Nice staff as well. nice, large kitchen...facilities very good...I really like the river view from the rooftop..You can see the opera House and the Bridge. 24 Hour reception so don't worry about late check-in or early check out!. The reception is closed after 9.30pm and only open at 7.30am the next day. So, to get some urgent things like a travel adapter or soap is difficult in the middle of the night as most shops are closed. We lost power in the building late one night. No one knew what happened and because the reception was closed, no one knew exactly what to do. Not sure how often something like that happens tho. The toilets could have been a bit nicer and cleaner, that was the only thing that bothered me. The sink and surrounding area didn't look like it had been cleaned for a bit too long!. no extra pillows!?. It was noisy at nights - the hotel is close proximity to bars and restaurants on the south side - so choose a room well away from that if you can. I did not like that I had to leave Melbourne - what a great city!. The sound insulation is not very good. It's ok if the next door is not very loud. Unlucky we got some guys next door who shouted until 1am. shared bathroom. Nothing it was great!. I don't particularly like shared bathrooms, but these were very clean and well maintained. The time lapse cameras in the hall were noisy. I bought this up with a staff member and they changed my room to one further away from the camera with no fuss. Great service. No hand basin in the room. Can't recall anything. nothing. atho showers themselfs were vey clean, they were a little outdated, but still worked fine. None. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, though it was ok. shower water spilling onto the toilet no fan in the bathroom dodgy door handles. Bathroom not always clean. Nothing to dislike. A bit too noisy for sleeping on the saturday and sunday nights. Room space was too small for two luggage~ wifi reception is not so good in our room. No air conditioning!! There was a pedestal fan, however it did little in the recent heat wave. Barely slept the 3 nights we were there. If it wasn't so hot I wouldnt have had any complaints. The noise from the construction site across the street and it was a little far from the centre of town. The common bathrooms were not clean. Cleaners should be told to clean the bathrooms including the showers at least twice a day. Patrons (especially men) much be told to use the bathroom carefully not dirtying the seat and flush also. Air freshners are needed to be installed to fight the bad odour. The kitchen facility was upstairs on the terrace, so had to walk up and down the stairs to fill room kettle. But not a big issue :). The stairs. noise in night from the street, as there are many bars around the area. nothing I had a great time :). No air conditioning was extremely hot, no sheets. no elevator. no elevator. Nothing bad to say. Couldn't find an ironing table and iron. Shared bathroom and garbage bin in the room. There is room for improvement in cleanliness of bathroom and toilet, perhaps frequent cleaning is a must.
