I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the
morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our
way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I
sat in the reception area. The manager after asking me if I had been
"left behind" I explained my problem, she very kindly took me

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

Easy to book, cheap, can book for one night only unlike other backpackers -
fridge, bathroom, shower on the room
strict rules for noise (poeple behaved really good, no night noise)

I usually stay here when I visit Sydney. It's right in the heart of the CBD and very cheap. There are certainly more luxurious hostels, but you pay more for them. 790 is cheaper, whilst still being a decent place to stay - generally clean, comfortable (you know a good mattress is important when you're staying at a hostel!), and most of the staff a

Efficient friendly checkin. Rooms very clean and spacious with
comfortable bed and crisp linen.Good airconditioning, good quality
towels. Great spot if attending functions around the Surry Hills area,
short walk to Chinatown through Central railway tunnel.Kindly stored
luggage til later in the day for our daughter. -

Hotel is very well located near Central station. Big mugs for coffee and tea and big glasses. Enough coffee and tea. Lots of thick pillows. Fridge, kettle, etc. Big desk. My room had a nice view of the street (not all rooms do) and very quiet with triple thick windows. Enough shampoo, conditioner and soap. I will recommend this hotel. - Eve

Anderledy Lodge, part of the Mary MacKillop complex, is small scale hotel nestled among trees and gardens near the centre of North Sydney. As a result it is quiet but close to the main roads and to North Sydney station. There are several high rise hotels nearby that I have stayed in in the past that were not as comfortable nor as quiet.

The accommodation was simple and comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room which was cool on a hot day in Sydney! There were lovely little touches like a personalised greeting flyer with information about the property and I particularly liked the little Lint chocolate that was left as a treat. The garden and surrounds we're beautiful and very peaceful, just what I wanted as I needed time out for a few hours before heading to a party nearby. I didn't arrive back until very late at nig

Free WiFi was excellent, beds were comfy, quite place. Friendly staff. -
Staff at reception were brilliant very friendly and helpful. The location was good and Victoria Park opposite lovely.

Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

Cheap, clean, great location. Nice staff. Based in Sydney Uni which is a lovely old university. I felt like I was walking into the set of Harry Potter.
Short walk to King St for a huge variety of breakfast choices & buses to the city centre.
Will definitely use it again.
