We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels. Location; size (boutique); set-out (would love to try a room with a view); breakfast; bar facilities and library/lounge. Being able to walk in and out and return after 10 PM without having to unlock/access entry.

The location was fantastic, very easy to find your way to many of Sydney's activities. The hotel itself blended the historical building with ultra modern fittings tastefully. The bedroom was adequate and the ensuite was a decent size. The shower was large. The room we stayed in was able to be dark with the blinds down for a sleep in. Staff were exceedingly helpful, and the hotel is in a great location. Easy to get around the city, and plenty of good attractions nearby. Excellent value for money, and terrific staff (couldn't be friendlier or more helpful). Rooms are fine---clean and rather basic--but there's so much to do in sydney that you probably won't spend much time in you

door, one's room is cleaned etc almost immediately! A very pleasant

right on top of darling harbour where you could find many places to eat plus only a short walk to town hall station and buses it was good to have a washing machine and tumble dryer to use as we had been on a cruise for 3 weeks prior to arriving in sydney and needed to do some washing -

Arrived from the usa to Australia and was allowed to check in early.
Front desk staff was Excellent. They were very helpful and
knowledgeable as was our first time there! Hotel is clean, bed is very
very comfortable and had plenty of hot water! (That was from other
post we read before we got there!) Hotel in an excellent location in
the cbd. It's not a luxury hotel but it would be a hotel I would
choose again.

Had a great stay here. The room was really nice and bright. It was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was a great bonus for hot days. The hotel in a nice area with lots of restaurants and is only a 10 minute walk from kings cross station which will get you to the city centre. We didnt pay extra for the room with a bridge view but the girl at the desk gave us the keys to the roof which has some of the best views in sydney. Stunning views of the harbour and opera house. Go

Modern rooms, very clean.
Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily.
Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel

The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

I like very much this backpackers. It is located near from several tourist places of city as Opera House and Botanic gardens Walk. This backpackers is very safe, therefore I recommend widely. -
Love how everyone was so social compared to other backpackers that i've been too. Dave was a great entertainment liaison!
