The location is amazing and the manager was attentive and helpful. The room was very clean and the staff worked hard at maintaining a nice establishment to stay. I thought the service was friendly and i would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be central and knows the value of good clean accommodations. I am definitely coming back.

I was only there for a very short time (not even 12hours), but the staff at reception were very friendly and check in was seamless; the bed I had was comfortable enough, with clean sheets (although the top bunk was a bit squeaky!). I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments.
It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked.
I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will
never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed
like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered

Best thing about it was the location - right smack in the middle of
George Street, very near to Central Station and best place for
shopaholics as the Haymarket area is just around the corner. The room
was surprisingly clean and well-kept, not a 5-star luxury one but had a
pleasant experience. Felt secure and safe enough to leave my items
inside the room (it has a safe for valuables such as passports, etc),
the reception was very accommodating and instantly booked my airport
